We have a pastor who said that there are 3 Babylons and one of them is the U.S. I do not believe him. If I am wrong tell me. We would be happy to know the truth.

My ex husband told me when he divorced me for his best friends wife, 20 yrs younger, that he was forgiven for everything he does & will do in the future. He has yet to tell me & our 2 adult children he is sorry for hurting us & still feels he has done nothing wrong but that he just wanted to be happy!

God told Moses that prior to him, nobody knew God by His Name, YHWH, which I understand to be rendered “LORD”. However, when you read the book of Genesis, the word “LORD” continues to appear. Am I taking it too literally when I understand God to have said that Moses was the first person to know Him as YHWH?

I was discussing the matter of Ishtar vs. Resurrection Sunday with a pastor, and he suggested I stop worrying about something that God isn’t concerned with, and he cited Romans 14: 5-10. Does this passage apply to my concern?

I understand the passages you quoted in your answer on the Doctrine of Election and see it as you do. However, I’ve always been confused with Romans 9: 21-23. This makes it sound as if God purposely makes certain people for destruction. This has never been very clear to me.

When a Catholic (or Episcopalian) recites the Apostles Creed, and sincerely means it, wouldn’t that be the same as the profession we make to be Born Again?

Just some thoughts about your answer regarding the KJV’s use of Easter in Acts 12:4. My understanding is that the Passover occurred before the feast of unleavened bread,so that the word was translated in that instance only with reference to the pagan festival that Herod was still waiting for to finish.

I have been speaking to some people who call themselves Mid-Acts dispensationalists. I have heard of this before, but I was never able to understand their position. I have begun to wonder if the mid-acts is another, more subtle form of Replacement Theology. What do you think?

Having listened to your Prophecy 2008 series, I am curious about something you said. You mentioned the window of opportunity for the Lord’s Return as being sometime between 2018 & 2037; adding 70 years to 1948 & 1967. Why would you say that? Doesn’t the End Times start with the rebirth of Israel?

Each week I teach a class on Bible Prophecy. 2 weeks ago I asked our class to study the importance of Moses and Elijah’s appearance before The Lord when he was transfigured. How could Moses and Elijah appear to Jesus since he hadn’t died yet?
