Q. The language of the KJV of Heb 2:16 centres on Christ being made of the seed of Abraham through David yet most of the modern versions read totally different saying God gives no assistance to angels but does to the children on men. I have consulted the interlinear bible and must say the KJV seems true to the original. Can you enlighten me as to where they get the current interpretation from? Read Post »

Q. I was reading about a new book on (a popular Christian news service) that cites the Book of Enoch, concerning the return of the Nephilim, possibly this year. I do not know if Enoch had written any book, but I can’t help wondering. Enoch supposedly says that at the 70 generations of 70 years is set to expire. What are your thoughts on this theory, and the Book of Enoch? Read Post »

Q. I was watching (a well known TV preacher) while He and his guest were discussing Communion, and how it can be taken daily to heal our infirmities. Now, I believe that God does indeed heal today, but the way they presented it made me think that they were using Communion as a tonic. I covet your thoughts please. Read Post »

Q. I believe that the rapture is imminent, but since God is not restricted by time, He will use the date of the rapture to His advantage, making the allotted number of Gentiles coming into the Kingdom as secondary. What do I mean by this? I believe that God intends to use the Rapture as a means to move some of His Jewish people to make a decision for Christ. By God taking action on another Jewish event, such as Rosh Hashana, just as He did in the past, would send a shockwave through the Jewish community. Although most will still follow the AntiChrist, many will “see the light”. Read Post »

Increase Our Faith
Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples. When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed.
“Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him, that he even does miracles! Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.
Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor.” He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their lack of faith. (Mark 6:1-6) Read Post »

Seek His Kingdom
On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Haggai: “This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Ask the priests what the law says: If a person carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and that fold touches some bread or stew, some wine, oil or other food, does it become consecrated?’ ” The priests answered, “No.”
Then Haggai said, “If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?”
“Yes,” the priests replied, “it becomes defiled.” Then Haggai said, ” ‘So it is with this people and this nation in my sight,’ declares the LORD. ‘Whatever they do and whatever they offer there is defiled. Read Post »

Q. I often wonder when God says that he has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realm, (Ephesians 1:3) I wonder what are all these blessings Paul refers to?
Secondly I see with my eyes that there are so many sinners who are so blessed (blessed career, strong financial status, a happy family with a beautiful partner and vibrant health … and many more) and I start to wonder since I am His child, why am I not having all these blessings which these sinners have? Am I going to share with them the gospel and tell them that I am really blessed? They will definitely jeer at me when they look at me now, I cannot even be compared with them … They will tell me I just can’t say God has blessed me. Read Post »

Q. We were discussing in our Sunday School class Abraham’s Bosom. Most of the class understands that before Jesus paid for all of our sins on the cross, no one could be with God in Heaven. Therefore the Old Testament saints went into Abraham’s Bosom to await their redemption which happened at Jesus’ resurrection.
Then someone asked about Enoch and Elijah as it is generally believed that they were translated, without dying, into heaven. Is heaven where they went? Read Post »
