Is There Grace For Men Like Me?

Q. I understand from you’re e-site that you are of the OSAS opinion/belief.  I am not sure a bit confused on this issue but I do hope that perhaps it may be the case, it does give some hope for the likes me.

Given that I am a former minister and during my time as a minister hit my wife on more than occasion and leaving ministry because of this, falling into drug use, adultery, alcoholism and defaming Christ using the most filthy language and curses; I hope most earnestly that there is grace even for men of my kind, with or without OSAS. Joel 2 And Ezekiel 38

Q. As I read Joel 2:1-29, it seems to me that the passage; describes the battle that starts the Day of the LORD; the turning of Israel back to the Lord;the Lord’s deliverance and the immediate after effects, such as the outpouring of his spirit. The rest of Joel 2:30-3:21 deal with part of the Tribulation period and the battle of Armageddon.

The question I am trying to get to is from here. I believe Ezek.38,39 and Joel 2 are descriptions of the same battle. Read Post »

Winning Crowns

Q. I have a question about the Bema Seat Judgment, when we are judged for our works during our lifetime. I’ve listened to a evangelist who states when we get to this judgment Jesus will ask each one of us what we did to work for Him in our lifetime and some of us will feel remorse in that we didn’t do anything to earn a crown.  He then went on to say how badly we will feel to have nothing to give back to the Lord when many others are casting their crowns back to Jesus.  I’ve been quite upset since hearing this man talk.  Is this really how it will be?  We will feel badly that we did not do enough or anything to earn a crown?  It also sounds as though Jesus will feel disappointment in those of us who have not done enough to earn anything. The End Times According To Isaiah, Part 4

A bible Study by Jack Kelley

This installment of the End Times According To Isaiah is all about Babylon. The fact that I’ve included Isaiah 13-14:23 in this series demonstrates my belief that Babylon has never been destroyed in the manner Isaiah will describe for us here, and that there is a major role in the end times for this ancient city. In all the Bible, the only city mentioned more often is Jerusalem. In fact some have gone so far as to characterize the Bible as “A Tale Of Two Cities,” Babylon, the city of Satan, versus Jerusalem, the city of God. Not surprisingly the two are always in contention. Where Did Other Religions Come From?

Q. I am fascinated with your website and the predictions in it.  I guess it might have taken years of research and study to accomplish something like this. The bible is transformed into a coded message from God. Thanks to you i have been reading my bible quit frequently, infact not just reading but also trying to co relate the message from God. Persecution Before The Rapture

Q. RE: The reference to Matt. 24:6-7 in your Seven Major Signs article, “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.” is happening more and more as Christians have become very unpopular worldwide. Do you think we will experience persecution (bodily harm) and death in the Americas as is true in China, Korea, India, etc. before the Rapture? A number of prophecy people think we should prepare for serious suffering and death by beheading. Would you please tell your thoughts about persecution as a human activity compared to wrath as God’s activity? Read Post »

Revival Or Last Call?

Q. I know you have already stated that the Bible does not support an End Times Revival (like many people think is happening through Dominionism, etc.) – would you please comment more on this in relationship to what you wrote “the Lord is issuing a giant last call” in your current feature article (Seven Major Signs)? I continue to be unsure of the difference and how this plays out and I don’t know how to refute people who insist we are in/headed for Revival. These people are pursuing active healing ministries and talking about bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to earth. Read Post »

The Meaning Of The Millennium

Q. Please help me to understand something about the Millennial Kingdom. According to descriptions of the Kingdom in Isaiah and elsewhere, it will be ruled by Jesus Himself from Jerusalem.  It will be characterized by peace, and “they will neither hurt nor destroy…”. Read Post »

The Rich Man And Lazarus

Q. In an article you wrote you said something that I have not been able to thus far prove – (the rich man’s name was Dives) In the Lord’s parables the characters weren’t named.

My Question is: Where did you find this reference? Read Post »

Who Was He Talking About?

Q. To whom is Jesus speaking in the following passage?  WHO will be handed over, etc.?

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (Matt. 24:6-14)
