Psalm 109

O God, whom I praise, do not remain silent, for wicked and deceitful men have opened their mouths against me; they have spoken against me with lying tongues. With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause. In return for my friendship they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer. They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my friendship.

Do I Have To Tithe On Gifts?

Q. I was told to tithe off of gifts too.  Is this biblical?   I tithe off of my gross & also give offerings.  I thought tithing was off of your “income” (ex.  paychecks, investment profits) but I’ve never heard it taught where you also tithe off of gifts.  I do not want to be under a curse, please give me your views.  Read Post »

Are the Jewish People Ritually Pure Today?

Q. I have a question on the purifying of the land described in Ezekiel 39. It says that the whole nation engages in disposing of the bodies of the invaders for seven months. After seven months, squads of people are specially employed to dispose of any remains that are found. When a bone is found, a marker is placed by it and the burying is done by specialists. The NIV explanation is that the common man avoids touching the bone so he can remain ritually pure. My question is: Does this level of ritual purity exist in Israel today? Read Post »

Did Noah’s Sons Have Multiple Wives?

Q. Noah took his sons and their wives with them.  Did each husband have multiple wives of different races?  The only reason I ask is because it’s confusing that all life was destroyed on earth, leaving Noah and his family to repopulate the earth.  Now, if Noah and his sons and their wives were all from the same region, then it seems everyone on earth that resulted from all those years of re-populating would all generally have the same skin color, bone structures, features, etc. Read Post »

Confused About Apostasy

Q. I’m confused about apostasy. In the book of Timothy and other places, it speaks of those who depart from the faith and those who fall away. Are these real believers who fall and lose salvation? Are they people who only professed to believe when they really didn’t? I believe those truly saved will not fall or be lost again by departing from the faith, but these passages sure sound as if believers actually depart from believing the truth. I thought I knew the answer, now I’m not so sure.  Thanks for your faithfulness. Read Post »

A Question About The Two Witnesses

Q. Having read through your website regarding the two witnesses I understand that you believe that they will be Moses and Elijah. Elijah because God tells us he will be one of them and Moses because of the character traits and probably the Mt of Transfiguration appearance.

My question is have you read a recent article regarding John being the possible second witness? If so would you care to comment on it? Read Post »
