Why Do The Children Die?

Q. One of the challenges I face when sharing the lord with others and quite frankly for myself as well is the suffering of children.  We all have experienced instances where defenseless children for what ever reason through sickness or tragedy have lost their lives.  I know that these things will seem small in comparison to the next life but that doesn’t explain why a merciful God would need this suffering from someone not old enough to know what sin is.

Unrest In Egypt

Q. I have been reading several news articles this morning about how the situation in Egypt has serious implications for Israel. With pressure building on their northern borders with Hezbollah now there is a possibility of having an even greater foe forming on their southern border with much more advanced military capabilities. How does Egypt play into the upcoming events and what does the Word of God say concerning Egypt?

A Transfer Of Wealth?

Q. What is the transfer of wealth to God’s people?  I have a friend who actually believes that she will receive monies to pay off all of her debts and have enough to send to certain evangelists that she  gives to.  She, of course, got the scriptures to back this up from those evangelists.  I know that God provides all our needs but she thinks that this money will be taken from the sinners and given to God’s people.  I looked up the scriptures that she gave me and see what she’s referring to but wonder what it really means .   As usual I look to you for answers and thank God you are there.

Acquiring Mountain Moving Faith

Q. My question is on faith. I know that we are all given a measure of faith, but how does one acquire or develop the kind that moves mountains.  I have a friend that is terminally ill and dying. She has great faith in the Lord. In a recent conversation that we had she said “can you imagine meeting Jesus how wonderful it will be”. There was such excitement in her spirit. She has asked God to take her at a time when her family can move forward with their lives and not grieve for too long. I have such respect and admiration for her faith and the relationship she has with Him.

Crowns For Believers, Literally?

Q. My question concerns crowns and the meaning of the term. I know the Bible mentions a crown of rejoicing, a crown of righteousness, a crown of life, etc., but are these literal crowns to be eventually awarded the believer, or are they metaphors for something else? The old hymn says “Crown Him with many crowns” so maybe Christ is the only one worthy to be crowned? Thank you and God bless your ministry.

Once For All Time

Q. I know that through the death of our Lord we are made acceptable to God, but how were people in the Old Testament acceptable?  There are many great figures in the Bible who made some dreadful mistakes – David, Samson etc.  It has always been encouraging to me that God looked with favor upon these people who got things so terribly wrong; however I find it difficult to reconcile the idea that as a righteous God, these people should not have been acceptable in His eyes.

Does Satan Answer Our Prayers?

Q. A well known and very respected minister once said in a sermon, “Satan often sends some good things into your life to get you walking in the direction he wants.”  I know that Satan masquerades as an angel of light and not all miracles are from God.  Can and does Satan answer our prayers?

Jude, Gateway To Revelation … Part 1

Table of contents for Epistle Of Jude,

  1. Jude, Gateway To Revelation … Part 1
  2. Jude, Gateway To Revelation … Conclusion

A Bible Study by Jack Kelley

The Book of Acts is sometimes called the Acts of the Apostles because it’s a record of their experiences in building the early Church. That being the case, the Book of Jude could be called Acts of the Apostates because it’s devoted to warning the Church of the false teachers who were coming. This being the time of the Great Apostasy (2 Thes. 2:3) we should review Jude’s 1 chapter letter the the Church and see what it says to us today.

Living In Safety?

Q. I was reading Ezekiel 38 again and ran across the statement of Israel dwelling safely when Gog and Magog war begins.  I thought that Israel returned to God during the war and that until they returned to Him they would not dwell safely.
