More On The Book Of Life

Q. As I understand it the Book of Life will contain the names of every person who ever lived, except those whose names were blotted out for denying Jesus.  Whereas, the Lamb’s Book of Life contains the list of all who truly accept Jesus as their savior, and whose names will never be erased.  One prophecy teacher states, “When God opens this book (of life) at the Great White Throne Judgment, the only names left in it will be the names of those who have believed in Christ as Savior and Lord.  That’s why the name of the book is changed from the “Book of Life” to the “Lamb’s Book of Life.”  I never thought of it in this light.   Will the Book of Life literally be changed into the Lamb’s Book of Life, or will there still be two separate books?

Resisting The Devil

Q. I know that Jesus is my Savior, and I know that the only way to get saved is to believe in Him and His death on the cross for my sins.  I have been wrestling with Satan who is trying to convince me that I am either not saved, or that I don’t have faith in what Christ did, or that i believe that I have more to do to keep my salvation. I know none of this is true, but how can I convince my heart of this and get Satan out of my head?

Life After The Rapture

Q. In partial answer to the question Why Is Satan Still Free? You said:  “If there was no evil in the world we would not have free will.  We could only do and be good.  Because of Satan we can love God and live in a manner that’s pleasing to Him by choice.  This makes our love meaningful to Him.  Otherwise we’d just be mindless robots.”

What are the implications of the above statements for our lives after the Rapture?  Are we going to be mindless robots or will there be evil so that we can have free will?  If there is evil what would keep us from falling again?

Aren’t All Miracles From God?

Q. Matt. 7:22-23 confuses me a bit. I understand that these people who will be uttering these statements are non believers, but what doesn’t sink well to me is how can they drive out demons and perform miracles in the name of Jesus Christ if they are not believers?

Salmo 70

Oh Dios, acude a librarme; apresúrate, oh Dios, a socorrerme. Sean avergonzados y confundidos los que buscan mi vida; sean vueltos atrás y avergonzados los que mi mal desean. Sean vueltos atrás, en pago de su afrenta hecha, los que dicen: ¡Ah! ¡Ah!

What Is The Outer Darkness?

Q. I was told recently that according to Matt 8: 10-12, there will be an “outer darkness” in heaven, meaning that some will be closer to God than others.  Whether they meant physically or spiritually, I do not know.  A reference was made that in v12 “the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown into this outer darkness…..” the reasoning being that they are already IN heaven and therefore will be seated farther away I suppose.  What are your thoughts on this?

Psalm 70

Hasten, O God, to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me. May those who seek my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!” turn back because of their shame.

Pouring Myself Into Another

Q. My questions is this. How do I pour myself onto others as Paul did? He loved them and poured himself into them, showing the Love of Christ. I want to do this with my friends, but I don’t know where to start. I’ve been friends with them for so long and now I’m deciding to change my ways with Christ and provide a good example for them. They are not believers and my greatest hope for them is if they each found Christ. How do I pour myself into them to help bring them towards Christ?!
