Millennium, Heaven Or Earth?

I am very confused. Will the thousand year millennium be on earth or in Heaven. If in Heaven will not the earth be dark and desolate for 1000 years?

A. It’s both. For the Church, the Millennium will be spent in the New Jerusalem, which is really what we mean when we talk about Heaven. For Israel and the Tribulation survivors who’ve become believers, the Millennium will be spent on Earth.

Contrary to being dark and desolate, the Earth will be returned to the condition it was in Adam first came on the scene, a lush garden paradise for man to enjoy.
