A. A newspaper calling a Jewish woman of the tribe of Judah and living in Nazareth a Palestinian refugee demonstrates an unmatched level of both ignorance of history and contempt for its readers in that they believe we’re not intelligent enough to know they’re wrong. Thousands of years before there were Palestinians, Bethlehem was a Jewish town, the birthplace of King David. Mary was there because every descendant of David’s had to come there to register for the census. The prophet Micah had foretold of the Messiah’s birth in Bethlehem 750 years before the fact.
