Q. Is the assumption that the 1st seal, day of the Lord and the beginning of the seventy week to be the same incorrect?  I hope that you could put up more information concerning this at your site.

A. Although none of these things are clearly spelled out in the Bible, many scholars conclude that Daniel’s 70th Week (the last 7 years before the Lord returns)  will begin with the 6 seals of Rev. 6.  A study of the phrase “Day of the Lord” reveals that while it’s not always the case, the phrase most often refers to the Great Tribulation, which by definition is the last half of Daniel’s 70th Week.
