Peter’s Prophecy

Peter quoted Joel 2:28-32 in Act 2. Sounds to me like what is mentioned in Joel 2:28-32 is something continue going on since Pentecost. How do you see it?

A. Many of the things Peter prophesied about in Acts 2 have been ongoing during the Church Age. God’s Spirit has been poured out on His servants, there have been prophecies, visions and dreams. There’ve been wonders in Heaven and signs on the Earth below. Everyone who has called on the name of the Lord has been saved.

But I believe that the sun going dark and the moon turning to blood red before the great and glorious Day of the Lord is a reference to the 6th Seal judgment in Rev. 6:12 which takes place before the beginning of the Great Tribulation.
