Your comment regarding the Russian weapons cache reminded me of the same mention in Rosenberg’s book “Epicenter”. I was in Lebanon during that time, and had no idea of that incident. After reading that portion a few months ago, I sat quietly and let the realization sink-in that I was nearly in the middle of an all-out war.

Your comment regarding the Russian weapons cache in the last paragraph of your answer reminded me of the same mention in Rosenberg’s book “Epicenter”. I was in Lebanon during that time, and had no idea of that incident until I read Rosenberg’s book. After reading that portion a few months ago, I sat quietly and let the realization sink-in that I was nearly in the middle of an all-out war. I also realized that this was yet another time when, unbeknownst to me, that my Heavenly Father was keeping me from danger.

A. For a long time this was a well kept secret. I first heard about it in the late 80’s and then had pretty much forgotten about it until I read Rosenberg’s book too. Then I remembered learning about it during an earlier study of Ezekiel 38, nearly 20 years ago. It wasn’t God’s timing then but I can’t help thinking it will be soon.
