Islam And The False Prophet Of Rev. 13

I have a question that I have not seen addressed as of yet on your site or anywhere else I’ve looked. It is concerning the Muslim Mahdi and his “commander” who they say will be “Jesus”.

Q. I appreciate your site so much. I have a question that I have not seen addressed as of yet on your site or anywhere else I’ve looked. It is concerning the Muslim Mahdi and his “commander” who they say will be “Jesus”. Therefore, when this Mahdi of theirs arrives (whom I believe will be the Antichrist), it would seem that his commander “Jesus” would be the False Prophet. Do you feel this is a valid assessment?

A. Some do equate the Moslem “Prophet Jesus” who accompanies al Mahdi with the false prophet of Rev. 13. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that in Rev. 13:11 John wrote that “he had two horns like a lamb but spoke like a dragon.” Horns symbolize authority and the lamb reference is obvious. So to the unsaved world he’ll look like Jesus and speak in the authority of Jesus, but his words will come straight from Satan.
