Satan In The Wilderness

Can you tell me why Satan was not fearful and to approach Jesus so boldly and tempt Him in the wilderness? Does Satan still have access to God’s
throne room?

throne room?

A. According to 1 John 5:19 the whole world is under the control of the Evil One. When Jesus came to Earth, He was invading enemy territory. Satan had a right to confront Him. In Luke 4:5-6 he offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world, claiming that they were his. Jesus didn’t dispute that claim.

I do believe that Satan still has access to God just as he did in the days of Job. Sometime in the near future, he’ll be cast down to Earth and will no longer be allowed in Heaven. (Rev. 12:7-12) At that point the Great Tribulation will begin on Earth.
