Why four gospels? There are several good reasons. First there were four audiences that had to be reached, each with different needs and a different perspective. Second, each Gospel provides a view of the Lord that differs from the other three, making all four necessary to see the whole picture. And third, each one is uniquely identified with the Camp of Israel and the Throne of God.
