Jerusalem Divided Again?

Do you think that Jerusalem will be captured by the Gentiles (Arabs in our case) during the Tribulation? Zachariah and Joel seem to make that claim. Is that correct?

If so, how do you reconcile the claim that Jews will never be dispersed from their land. I understand that being captured and being dispersed are different things, but nevertheless, Jerusalem is a pretty big deal to give up.

A. Zechariah 14:2 says that half of Jerusalem will go into captivity in conjunction with the Battle of Armageddon. It’s really no different than giving up the West Bank today. It’s only temporary and it doesn’t cause the nation to cease to exist. Israel will only fully occupy the Promised Land after the 2nd Coming and only then will the threats to their existence cease.
