Understanding Rev. 22:11

Q. What are your thoughts on the angel’s instructions to John in Revelation 22:11: “Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy.”

A. In Rev. 22:10 the angel had told John not to seal up the prophecy of the book because the time is near. The point of verse 11 is to say that no matter what man does, good or bad, the things in the Book of Revelation will take place just as John had been told.
