Giving Account

I understand that no works are required for our salvation, but Romans 14:12 says that “each of us will give an account of himself to God”. Is this an accounting of our works, or will we simply stand in Christ’s salvation?

A. I believe that Paul was referring to the Bema Seat judgment that takes place after the rapture and at which we’ll be awarded the crowns promised to believers. (1 Cor 3:10-15) These crowns don’t affect or modify our salvation but are rewards for things we do here on Earth that advance the Kingdom.
