Did Paul Write All The Pauline Epistles?

Posted in: Ask a Bible Teacher

Q. The curriculum our Sunday School class is following made this claim.

That Paul wrote 1 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Philemon, Philippians, Romans.

That he may have written Colossians and 2 Thessalonians,

And may not have written Ephesians, Hebrews, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus.

Do you have an opinion about it? A. Most Evangelical scholars agree that Paul wrote all the letters that appear in the Bible under his name, and probably wrote Hebrews as well.  I agree with that conclusion.  If the Bible is the inspired word of God, who is the source of all truth, why would He have the people He chose to write it lie about their identities?
