Our Last Election?

Q. In a fairly recent article, you made a ‘heart-thumping’ prognostication regarding the rapture of the Church. Your comment- “Christians in America (may) have voted in their last presidential election.” Would you please expound upon why you think this could be the case?

A. Matt. 24:34 says that some of those being born when the first of the End Times signs appear will still be alive at the End.  Psalm 90:10 says an average Biblical life time is 70 years.  Because of that, I believe that all end times prophecies including the 2nd Coming have to be fulfilled by 2018, seventy years after the rebirth of Israel in 1948.  I also believe the Rapture of the Church has to occur at least 7 years before the 2nd Coming, probably more.  If I’m right, then we’ll be raptured before the next presidential election.
