Angel Sex, Follow Up

Q. Your website is great. In your answers about women and fallen Angels you state that Angels can have sex but  don’t. I find it thoughtful that God gave the Angels an ability and then told them not to use it.  Your thoughts please?

A. What I was saying is the fact that fallen angels married human women and produced offspring (Gen. 6:4) proves that they had the capability for sex.  Jesus said that in heaven we won’t marry, but will be like the angels. (Matt. 22:30) Sex is permitted only in marriage, so we can conclude that since angels don’t marry then they don’t have sex. I don’t know why that is because the Bible doesn’t contain any further information on the subject. Perhaps it’s because angels, being eternal beings, have no need to procreate.
