Judgment For Tribulation Saints?

Posted in: Ask a Bible Teacher

I understand all the coming judgments, such as the Bema Seat, Great White Throne etc. But I cannot seem to find how the Great Tribulation Saints, the saints that are martyred in the last 3 1/2 years are judged? Or are they?

Q. I love your site! I understand all the coming judgments, such as the Bema Seat, Great White Throne etc. But I cannot seem to find how the Great Tribulation Saints, the saints that are martyred in the last 3 1/2 years are judged? Or are they? Thank you for your help.

A. From my understanding, the Bible doesn’t mention any additional judgment, positive or negative, for the Tribulation Martyrs. I guess the Lord feels that sacrificing their lives for their faith is enough.

When they first arrive in Heaven (Rev. 7:9) they’re assigned to positions of service in the Temple and granted an eternity of peace and comfort, with all their needs met. There’s neither an indication of additional rewards nor are they subject to any criticism.

If it wasn’t for our knowledge of the far superior reward the Church will receive, the destiny of Tribulation Martyrs would be very appealing.
