Abortion In Israel

I recently read The End Times according to Ezekiel, part1. In the article You quoted Jeremiah (on the subject of child sacrifice). I have also read (on a different web site) that there are approximately 900 abortions in Israel every week. Do You think this could be true?

“Here’s a reminder of the cause of Israel’s judgment. The shedding of blood refers to their practice of child sacrifice, a form of idol worship so abhorrent to God that He said it never entered His mind that they would do such a detestable thing. (Jere. 32:35)”

I have also read (on a different web site) that there are approximately 900 abortions in Israel every week. Do You think this could be true?? I am just stunned!!! Please comment!

A. Israel is a secular nation and abortion is legal subject to the approval of one of the 41 regional committees for pregnancy termination. About 96% of applications are approved. According to official sources, over 40,000 abortions are performed annually, but only about 60% are considered legal. The rest are performed in private doctors offices without state approval.
