A. The term allos Parakleto appears in the Greek text of John 14:16. In English it’s either translated another counselor or another comforter.

There are two words in Greek for another. One is heteros and means another of a different kind. Allos means another of the same kind. When Jesus promised another comforter, He meant another just like Him. He was referring to the Holy Spirit.
