Are The Times Of The Gentiles Over?

If the outline of the times of the gentiles is laid out in Dan 2 then I believe that Jerusalem still has to be trodden on by the ruler of the ten kings or revived roman emperor. Q. If the outline of the times of the gentiles is laid out in Dan 2 then I believe that Jerusalem still has to be trodden on by the ruler of the ten kings or revived roman emperor. He will take over Jerusalem and the temple for a while. Just something else interesting Jewish PM Olmert has already made out a plan to divide Israel with the “Palestinians”.

A. Zechariah 14 reveals that in the final battle for Jerusalem half the city will be captured. In order for this to happen, the entire city will have to have previously been in Jewish hands. And Revelation 11 states that the outer courts of the Temple will be trodden on by the Gentiles for 42 months. Neither of these is to be considered part of the times of the Gentiles which end with the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week.

I believe the previous and current governments of Israel are acting in violation of God’s law concerning the Land. (Lev. 25:23-24) Rabin was assassinated and Sharon was incapacitated. You don’t have to be a prophet to foresee the likely result of Olmert’s efforts to abandon parts of the West Bank.

The Israeli military is currently practicing for an invasion of Gaza to take back at least some of the land that was abandoned there, and world opinion does not currently favor Olmert’s West Bank plan. It’s a long way from being a “done deal.”
