Children of the Holocaust

Q

During the Holocaust, where did Jewish children under the age of accountability go upon death, even if they had been taught the Jewish religion by their parents? This really concerns me greatly.

A

Based on several references, especially Paul’s comments in Romans 7:9, I believe the Bible tells us all children whether Jew, Gentile, or Christian are born with eternal life and if they die before reaching the age of accountability will go to be with God. I believe the age of accountability is when a child becomes intellectually mature enough to understand the nature of sin and its consequences. Upon reaching that level of maturity, all children become accountable for their sins, are scheduled for death, and must be born again to regain eternal life.
