Defining The End

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14).

My question is this… can you define “the end” mentioned in Matt 24:14?

A. At the beginning of Matt. 24, the disciples asked Jesus 3 questions. When will this (temple destruction) happen, what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age? (Matt. 24:3) The rest of the chapter contains His answer, so His reference to the end is to the end of the age, the time immediately preceding the beginning of the Millennium.
