Ezekiel 38 And The USA

Q. Thank you for your Godly replies. For Ezek 38 to be played wouldn’t our USA have to be totally out of the picture as I believe we would rush to Israel’s aid when this takes place?

A. Yes I believe that somehow the US has to be made either unwilling or incapable as far as protecting Israel is concerned. This could involve something as simple as a change in the national will, such as would likely happen if the Rapture precedes Ezekiel 38, or the threat of a major nuclear strike if the US refused to stand aside, or such an attack itself, or something we haven’t thought of yet. In any case, as long as the US is credibly committed to defending Israel, I think it’s safe to say Ezekiel 38 won’t happen.
