I’m Being Persecuted Because I’m Sick

My name is Ronny. I am 11 years old. The medicine they make me take makes me bald. My friends make fun of me and push me around. I got in trouble when they took my cap and jacket and put into the creek at the bus stop. They spit on my head on the bus and the driver put me on report for changing seats while bus moving.

Q. My name is Ronny. I am 11 years old. The medicine they make me take makes me bald. My friends make fun of me and push me around. My dad wont get me more hats cause he says I am irresponsible and lose them. They took my science book and space shuttle model and threw over the bridge in the creek. Now they call me gay cause he saw me crying in the bathroom. Is it true that I will go to jail or hell if I beat him up to make them stop? Do they hit bald people in jail or hell? I know you probably won’t answer cause you’re the church and would be mad that I getting in trouble. I didn’t use to though. I don’t like it at school anymore and I wish God would make them stop.

A. No I’m not the Church and I’m not mad at you for getting into trouble. There must be some body around who will help you. Have you told your parents or your bus driver or your school principal what’s happening to you? I can’t believe that they would all just ignore something like this.

Violence is never the answer even when other kids are cruel, so you shouldn’t get into fights. But it’s not your fault you have to take medicine that makes you look different. Keep trying to get some one’s attention and tell them you need help. In the mean time I’ll publish your letter and I’m sure many people who read it will pray for you to get better and to make the other kids leave you alone. If you send me your address and promise to take care of them, I’ll send you some hats.
