There is no scripture for my comment, but I have been thinking about pre/post trib rapture. I believe in pre trib because we are the Bride of Christ and I cannot believe He would allow His bride to go thru the tribulation. Would you have asked your bride to go thru something so terrible before your marriage?
No, I feel the same way. No loving husband would allow His bride to needlessly suffer through something like that. I say needlessly because the purpose of the End Times judgments is to purify Israel and destroy the nations (Jeremiah 30:11).
The Church was made pure at the cross and is a radiant Church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless (Ephes. 5:25-27). Therefore, making us endure the End Times judgments would serve no purpose. This is why Paul said the Church will be rescued (delivered) from (out of the time and place) of these judgments (Romans 5:9, 1 Thes. 1:10) and why Jesus promised the same thing (Rev. 3:10).
It’s also why I have concluded that the phrase “the armies of Heaven were following after Him” in Rev. 19:14 refers to angelic warriors and not the Church, as most people assume. I don’t believe the Lord would lead us into battle either. In my opinion the Church will come down from Heaven in the New Jerusalem shortly after the 2nd Coming (Rev. 21:2).
