Messianic Jews And The Rapture
I have noticed over the years that Messianic Jews and Christians that get caught up with Israel don’t see the “church rapture”. It puzzles me. Have you got an answer for this?
Q. I have noticed over the years that Messianic Jews and Christians that get caught up with Israel don’t see the “church rapture”. It puzzles me. Have you got an answer for this? Is it that they identify with Israel and not the church.
Thank you and God Bless
A. Some in the Messianic movement don’t identify with anything concerning the Church because, of all the entities on Earth, more persecution has been visited upon the Jews in the name of the Church than any other. Others, like some Gentile Christians, hold to a view of the end times that rejects the notion of a Rapture.
Even more than the Rapture, I’ve noticed that Messianic Jews and Christians who come to love Israel often have great difficulty with the idea of the Great Tribulation and the suffering it will cause to the Jewish people. The last few years before the Lord’s return will not be pretty, and no one would wish that kind of experience for their worst enemies, let alone those they’ve come to love and respect.
