Paul The False Apostle?

Q. I read an article on another site I frequent regarding Paul, specifically calling him a false apostle. Have you heard similar claims and have you read this person’s work?

A. I haven’t read this man’s work but I have heard criticism of Paul along the lines that his gospel is different from Peter’s and that he “invented” Christianity and took it to the gentiles when the Jews refused to listen to Him. These claims go all the way back to Biblical times, and Paul addressed them in 2 Cor. 11.

All of this pre-supposes the the Bible is not inspired, that the Lord allowed what these people believe to be Paul’s false doctrine to be included in the Bible and become the basic foundation of Christianity, and then allowed it to be confirmed it with miracles by healing Paul whenever his attackers beat him up. I don’t buy it.
