Ripe For Deception

Q

It is clear that the battle of Ezekiel 38-39 and the battle of Armageddon are two separate battles. I also believe that the battle of Ezk 38-39 could occur either shortly before the rapture, or shortly after the rapture. But there are very vocal people who claim these two battles to be the same event. Do you think this could be setting the world up to accept the Antichrist?

A

This is one reason why I think the Church will have to disappear at the time of Ezekiel’s battle. As Daniel’s 70th week begins confusion will be the order of the day, and there will be many lies in the air. People will be proclaiming peace while staring war in the face. They’ll look upon the devil and think they’re seeing Jesus. These lies could easily be refuted by a knowledge of God’s word and would be if the Church was still here. But with the Church gone the remaining world will be easily misled. In Amos 8:11 God said that He would cause a famine of hearing the word of the Lord, and the Church is the voice of the Lord in the world today.
