Say That Again One More Time?
You had said because of Israel becoming a nation in ’48 and a Biblical generation being 70 years that we would see End time prophecies within a 20 year or so time frame; with the Rapture being the first. What I’m wondering is does this mean that the Rapture will probably not happen until 2027 or later?
Q. I was reading one of the questions written to you about End Times and timing. You had said because of Israel becoming a nation in ’48 and a Biblical generation being 70 years that we would see End time prophecies within a 20 year or so time frame; with the Rapture being the first. What I’m wondering is does this mean your thinking the Rapture will probably not happen until 2027 or later?
A. What I said is that a Biblical lifespan is 70 or so years (Psalm 90:10) and that Matt. 24:34 seems to say that all end times prophecies will be fulfilled within the lifetimes of those being born when the first signs appear.
Many believe that the rebirth of Israel was the first, but some prefer the re-unification of Jerusalem. Adding 70 years to either 1948 when Israel was re-born, or 1967, when Jerusalem became an undivided city again gives us a 19 year window from 2018 to 2037 for all end times prophecies up to and including the 2nd coming to occur.
I also said that the rapture is not connected to any other end times prophecy and can literally happen at any moment including the one it takes you to read this.
