The Anti-Christ In Daniel 8

Q

My question is in regard with Daniel 8:23 which reads “And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.” You previously explained that the “full number of gentiles” which Paul used in Rom. 11;25 is a nautical term used by ship captains to identify the completeness of a vessel crew necessary to sail off. Is the clause “the transgressors are come to the full” similar in that sense? Also, can you please explain what the “understanding dark sentences” means?

A

Daniel 8 was written in Hebrew while Romans 11 is from the Greek language. Therefore the two terms are not equivalent. Basically, the phrase “transgressors are come to the full” means they’ve become completely wicked. Understanding dark sentences literally means able to figure our riddles or sinister schemes. The anti-Christ will be a master of intrigue.
