The Curse Of Eve

Q

If Adam and Eve had not partaken in the act of sin, how would man have procreated? God cursed Eve and said that “I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou salt bring forth children and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

We know now what an ordeal giving birth to a child can be. It is very painful with out medication, and Eve didn’t have medication. Would they have had sexual relations that would result in birth just as it does today, if they had not sinned? It seems that the birthing process, as it is today, would be very painful. I know that they were immortal before the fall just as we will be again in our glorified bodies. That is why there will be no need for procreation for saints after the rapture of the church. I have always wondered how the world would have been populated if Adam and Eve had not sinned. Thanks in advance for your answer.

A

The commandment to be fruitful and multiply came in Genesis 1:28. The curse didn’t occur until Genesis 3:16. Adam and Eve were capable of procreation from the moment they came into existence.

As for the rest, I’m convinced the so-called curse of Eve has been tragically misunderstood. If you want a different perspective read my study on The Curse Of Eve
