The Four Horsemen Of Rev. 6

Q

Re: Rev. 6:8. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

I note that the statement in this verse indicated that the four horses of Revelations are given authority over a fourth of the earth.. I know china and the kings of the east are not under his authority for they gather an an army of 200 million men to attack the anti-Christ. Does this then mean that the anti-Christ is in control over only one fourth of the earth? This would certainly change the meaning of one world government.

A

I believe the pronoun “they” in Rev. 6:8 refers to Death and Hell, not to all four horsemen. But remember, the judgments are progressive. The Seal Judgments impact 1/4th of the Earth, The Trumpets ruin 1/3 of the land and water, and the Bowls hit everything. By the beginning of the Great Tribulation, which starts after the Trumpet Judgments, the whole world will follow the anti-Christ (Rev. 13:3).
