The Kingdom Of God

Q

When Jesus Christ reigns on earth during the 1000 yr period, is that period considered the Kingdom of God or is the Kingdom of God on the New earth? I’m asking because we know the Christ reigns on earth in the 1000 yrs after He returns and if the 1000 yrs is the Kingdom and flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom, how is it that the sheep (mortal beings) of the tribulation are able to enter it in their flesh and blood bodies? I’m trying to answer an argument that has me confused. Where am I getting it wrong?

A

In 1 Cor. 15:50 Paul said

I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

He was talking about the eternal kingdom where we’ll dwell with Jesus forever, and the fact that we’ll need resurrection bodies to go there. The so-called Kingdom Age on Earth, also called the Millennium, is different, even though Jesus is its King as well. Mortals can and will dwell there through out the 1000 years.
