Where Do I Begin?
Q. I must confess that I don’t read Scripture as much as I should, and that every time I try to start reading the Bible anew, there’s always some ”convenient” excuse that comes up.
I want to grow and start eating spiritual meat instead of milk, but the major problem I have is where to start. Should someone first go through beginning to end or start with the Gospels and work through the New Testament first? Do you have any advice on how to proceed if someone is stuck in this Biblical rut like I am? Thank you for your wonderful website.
A. The Gospels are a good place to begin. I am currently doing an audio study on Mark. Maybe it would be easier for you to follow along than to just read by yourself. You can download the study to your computer. Look for Gift Shop on the right hand menu. Under that you’ll find mp3. Click on that and follow the directions. Like everything on the site, mp3′s are free. Let me know if you have a problem.
