We watch the Hal Lindsey Report. This last Sunday he said his interpretation of the scripture is the antichrist will come out of Rome. I think he said this came out of the book
of Daniel. Can you tell me if this is something you agree with?

I think it’s generally accepted from Daniel 2:40-43 and Daniel 9:26-27 that the anti-Christ will come out of the old Roman Empire. The current debate is over whether he will come from the Eastern leg which is largely Islamic today, or the western leg which is what we now call Europe. Personally I favor the Eastern leg and believe there’s a strong possibility that the anti-Christ will come out of Islam.
