Witnessing In The Last Days

Q. My family and I are trying to witness to a small group of young adults from a variety of religious backgrounds, mostly Jewish and Catholic. Their beliefs are now aligned with the various worldly views such as there are many paths to salvation; salvation is not necessary; hell was not a Jewish belief only made up by the church; or simply atheist/agnostic. What guidance would you offer us on some of these issues. Also what general input would you offer for witnessing in these last days..(we have never before felt so convicted to carry out this work of the Lord and therefore are very lacking in experience in witnessing). Bless you and you family, and this ministry as well.
A. When Paul went to Corinth, it was a large prosperous city. There were many eloquent speakers, promoting a wide variety of beliefs. Paul knew that trying to debate them was foolish so he resolved to “know nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” (1Cor. 2:2) That’s still good advice . This group of young adults can easily side track you with irrelevant questions if you’re not careful. Stick to the basics. Man is a sinner in need of a savior. Jesus agreed to be Man’s Savior by dying in man’s place. All who accept His death in payment for their sins will inherit eternal life. Those who don’t won’t.
Your local church probably either has or knows where to get simple little pamphlets to help explain the Gospel. Get some and hand them out to people who seem curious. Pray for the Lord’s help and get others to pray for you as well. And may God bless your family for undertaking this urgent task.
As for the idea that hell is not a Jewish concept have your friend explain Isaiah 66:24.
