Who’s In Control Here?

I was wondering about the way you answered a question about what God allows in a person’s life. I had always understood that God does have to allow testing and trials like he did for Job, giving His permission.

Tribulation, 7 Years Or 3.5?

I’m hearing a lot these days from the pre-wrath rapture camp that the Tribulation period is only 3.5 years instead of being 7 years long. They say that the Bible does not support a 7 year tribulation, but instead a 3.5 year tribulation. Could you please address this issue?

Submissive Wife, Loving Husband

I have observed that in many sermons and conferences concerning the roles of husbands and wives, Col.3:18 gets about 4 seconds and 3:19 gets expounded upon at length. I would like to hear from you about this – before I pick up a copy of that new book:

Sin That Leads To Death

Please help me understand 1 John 5:16-17. My thoughts on this are: the sin that leads to death is blaspheming the Holy Spirit which would imply the person committing this sin is not a believer in Christ as his Savior. Hearing Our Prayers

Do you think that the first prayer the Lord listens to is the prayer of salvation? The Bible says if we have iniquity in our heart, the Lord will not hear us. So then would that mean the Lord does not hear the unbelievers prayers? Does that mean He does not hear the prayers of the Jewish people at the wailing wall? I guess He hears them, but does He answer them?

I believe Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in His divinity. I believe He is my Savior. I read His Bible. I spend time praying and speaking quietly with Him. But what else do I do?

Rapture Timing And Daniel 7?

Recently, I read that God’s “throne room” scene referenced in Revelation 5 is depicted in Daniel 7: 7-11. I looked it up and saw that the “little horn” is mentioned in verse 8, but the throne room scene begins in verse 9. Does this interfere with the timing of the rapture?

Saved During The Tribulation

During the tribulation, do people get saved the same way we are now? That is, by a personal acknowledgment one’s own sinfulness and need of the Savior and by accepting Christ as that Savior?
