Is God Judging Us?

Commentary by Jack Kelley

The weather is in the news again and I’ve received a number of questions about it. With another 500 year flood along the Mississippi and the worst tornado season since the 50s people are once again wondering if God is judging us for our sins. So we can better understand what’s going on here’s some perspective on the issue.

(Note:  This narrative is a summary of dozens of end times prophecies from both the Old and New Testaments.  Its objective is to present a readable overview of the times ahead from a Biblical perspective. )

Left Behind For Bad Behavior?

A Bible Study by Jack Kelley

One of the most telling indicators that the rapture is near is the number of people who write fearing that because of their behavior they’re going to be left behind. People didn’t worry so much about that when they thought the rapture was off in the distant future.

Prophecy On Fast Forward

Commentary by Jack Kelley

Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilence in various places and fearful events and great signs from Heaven. (Luke 21:10-11)

The One World System

A Bible Study by Jack Kelley

Revelation 17-18 shows there are three components to the one world system of the Last Days. There’s a one world religion, a one world government, and a one world commercial system. All have been developing for longer than most people suspect and are rapidly coming to fulfillment. As this happens they’re becoming more and more obvious to the public. No longer just the realm of the fanatical conspiracy theorists, today only those who refuse to see are unaware of their existence.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

A Bible Study by Jack Kelley

The Great Pyramid’s builder knew all the dimensions of Earth and had a command of engineering, astronomy, and mathematics that would be impressive even today. If this guy didn’t have supernatural capability himself, he was certainly assisted by Someone who does. (Note: I first posted this article on Jan 23, 2005. I offer it again as a follow up to the recent article entitled “What’s To Become Of Egypt.”)

Luke 17, The Lord’s Other End Times Prophecy

A Bible Study by Jack Kelley

Our Lord gave us a pretty thorough overview of the End Times as they relate to Israel. It’s often called the Olivet Discourse because He was speaking to four of His disciples on the Mt. Of Olives. It was just a couple of  days before He was arrested, and they asked Him about the End of the Age. Matthew’s account of His answer is in chapters 24-25. Mark’s is contained in chapter 13. Luke’s version is a little different in that it also includes a prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. You’ll find it in his 21st chapter.

Behold The Black Horse

A Bible Study by Jack Kelley

When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!” (Rev. 6:5-6)

In answer to a recent question, I made the comment that early signs of the coming Seal Judgments are beginning to appear. This does not mean I believe we’re in the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week. It means I can see signs that it’s not far off, which means the rapture of the Church is even closer.

What’s To Become Of Lebanon?

Commentary by Jack Kelley

The nation we know as Lebanon was called Phoenicia by the Greeks and originally extended along the Mediterranean coast from just north of Megiddo in Israel to Latakia, about 200 miles northwest of Damascus. The people were most likely descendants of Canaan, the fourth son of Ham, since Sidon, Canaan’s first born, gave his name to a prominent Phoenician city, and several other Canaanite tribes settled nearby following their departure from Babel (Genesis 10:15-18).
