I have a friend who believes and teaches about preadamites. It isn’t that theory itself bothers me, as much as the idea that comes from it. The bible clearly says that Adam was the first man, and that through him (Adam) was sin and death brought into the world. If a race was already here and God destroyed it, wouldn’t that make these verses in the bible untrue?

In regards to the “ask a bible teacher” discussion of “the keys to hell”, I found a verse in Col 2:15. It states: “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” I understand some bible experts say this means that after Jesus died, He went into Hell and exerted his authority and dominance.

You mentioned that ‘Like Jesus, Adam is called the son of God (Luke 3:38)’. I know you are not saying that Adam is God but why can Adam even be called the son of God?

I know that the declaration of some animals as unclean by God was to prevent disease. Is it also possible that certain animals were listed an abomination because Satan broke laws, unknown to us, when forming these creatures?
