In all of scripture I have found but one verse that appears to back up the traditionally Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation (i.e. Presence of Christ dwells literally in the bread and wine). I just wanted to get your take on this verse, which has confounded this ex-Catholic.

In your article on Daniel’s 70 weeks, the bit that bothers me a little is the timing of Christ’s entry into Jerusalem. On the second page, you state that the decree by Artaxerxes was made in March 445 BC, then “exactly 483 years after that the Lord Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey …” Putting these two figures together would make the year of our Lord’s death as 38 AD. How does that figure with the usual age of 33 years at His death?

We call him Satan, but in Ezekiel 28:14 he’s called the anointed cherub.” Where did you get your information for this statement?

Q. An issue which bothers me is this, I know Jesus was conceived by a virgin. How then is he being linked in genealogy to Abraham and David if Joseph is not his father. Joseph, husband to Mary is also listed in this genealogy as giving legitimacy to the fact that Jesus as a man is a descendant of Abraham. It does not challenge my faith but it keeps on popping up as a question in my mind. Probably the devil trying to twist me around to doubt my faith. What can you say about it.

I was reading Luke 10:1-24 and was wondering who were the seventy. Who were these seventy disciples? Do we know anything about them as to their names or anything for that matter?
