Q. 1 COR.11 seems to put women under the law much as circumcision did for men. Also, using the “2 witness” method, this cannot be supported elsewhere in scripture. Why do you teach that this has never been revoked?

Q. For the past couple months I’ve been thinking about the question, how important are we(as born again Christians) to the earths progression and understanding of God? Can you you help me with this?

Q. I have a question regarding the Church’s purpose. I was in Church on Sunday, and I heard my pastor speaking on the purposes of different churches. For example, some churches teach prosperity as their main outreach, that is what they do. He said that our church’s main purpose was to seek the presence of God, which to our church is even more important in saving the lost. This somewhat confused me. Shouldn’t the main purpose of every church be to spread the Gospel and save the lost? What is the main purpose of the Church?

Q. Thank you for your articles. I appreciate them very much. There is something I would like your opinion on. The church I attend celibrates communion about every two weeks. What I find disturbing is they use normal leavened bread. Doesn’t this indicate a sinful body of Christ which is terrible? Is not this a continuation or fulfillment of Passover and as set up by Christ shouldn’t we at least be using unleavened bread? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Q. I am new to your website but appreciate all of the articles, questions and answers. My question: I recall reading somewhere, that we were to pray for the dead. I have tried to find references to this in the bible but so far have not been able to find anything. Could you shed some light on this?

Q. I have always heard men talk about the teaching of the Immanency of Christ’s return; that he can return at any moment and that there aren’t any “signs” that have to occur first. I really don’t understand this. It seems to me that, there were some signs and are others still, that have to happen before the Lord returns for us at the Rapture. Read Post »

Q. I am been doing a lot of thinking in regards to Grace, the Mosaic Law, the feasts and other things the Messianic movement thinks should apply to the Christians and wanted your opinion on my thoughts.
The central passages I am looking at are found in Acts 15. Paul has returned from his trip to the Gentiles and an issue had arisen specifically in regards to circumcision. Peter, Paul, James and those apostles still alive and in Jerusalem held a council and from that came four requirements for Gentile believers: They were to not engage in sexual immorality, not eat meat given to idols or from an animal that was strangled nor were they to eat or drink blood. Q. Still loving your site, thanks so much. My question today is from Hebrews chapter 2 verse 9…”But we see Jesus (who is God), who was made a little lower than the angels….” How can that be and what does this mean ? God bless you. Read Post »

Q. Hi Jack, thank you for your site, I follow it every day. May be you could help me to understand where I am at with the Lord, and get back in fellowship with him. I am saved and have been for awhile now, and I have been following after Jesus as GOD. For my understanding of the Bible is, that Jesus is GOD just as GOD is Jesus just as GOD is the Heavenly Father and he is also GOD the Holy Spirit. I believe in worshiping Jesus and praying to him and by doing this I am praising GOD the Father. One day at church I told a senior deacon that I pray to Jesus and I got a response from him that I was doing something wrong. Read Post »

Q. I have a question concerning the seeker/friendly church. The church I attend is very seeker/friendly I think. For example their are no crosses put in the church or at least where they may be a “distraction” because “we want to be sensitive to new people who are coming in for the first time.” The open study of end times is considered a distraction from the mission of the church and is not considered a priority.
