What Is God’s Wrath?

Q. In the book of Thessalonians in chapters one and 5 we see scripture that says clearly we are not appointed to wrath. However, how can we be certain that the wrath mentioned doesn’t mean eternal punishment from God? I appreciate your thoughts as always.

Sealing God’s Servants, Follow Up

Q. Since neither of us will be here when it happens, I’m willing to indulge in a bit of speculation on the issue, but is it possible that the ‘sealing’ of God’s people BEGINS with the 144,000 and spreads through the population of tribulation believers, or will the locusts have some ‘sense’ of who to go after?  Since this judgement is from GOD, HE knows who are HIS. Just throwing an idea out there.

Who Can The Locusts Attack?

Q. I have a question concerning the judgments of Revelation. In chapter 9 when the locusts are released, God says not to harm the grass or trees nor the servants that have His seal, the only group of people it mentions being sealed are the 144,000 witnesses. Does this mean even those who have turned to Christ after the Rapture will face these judgments and punishments? Or will they be spared as well being tribulation saints?

What Does Rev. 7:14 Mean?

Q. Re: Rev 7:14.   “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”  What does “out of” mean?  Isn’t it the clear clue of when the multitude (the church/body of Christ)will be raptured?

Will Jerusalem Be Destroyed Again?

Q. Luke 21:24 says, “Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”  Earlier the knowledge of the terrible destruction of the city had caused our Lord to weep (Luke 19:41).  Does this mean that Jerusalem must be destroyed again before the ‘times of the Gentiles be fulfilled’ and the Rapture takes place?  It seems right around the corner but I would like your opinion or clarification on this verse.

Do The Jewish People Understand Prophecy?

Q. Recently I got to thinking about how we who love the Lord can hardly wait for His return, and are watching for Isaiah 17, Psalm 83, and Ezekiel 38 & 39.  It made me wonder, what do the Jews do with these prophecies that are in “their” part of the Bible, but have not happened yet?  Do you think the average Jew living in Israel today even knows that Damascus is scheduled to be a ‘heap of ruins’, that Gaza and friends are going to be dealt with,  that Russia will lead a war with Iran and God will defeat them personally?  I just wonder if they even read these passages, believe them, and realize they are due any day, or are they not even aware of them.

Lift Up Your Heads

Q. In Luke 21:28 Jesus tells us when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.  My question is how can we define nigh, did Jesus mean nigh in God’s perspective of nigh? Should we conclude that God’s nigh is the same as we interpret nigh?  Is it possible that when Jesus says nigh he can mean a period of ten years or more, twenty years? I know we can not know for certain, but I would appreciate your insight on this.

Will Israel Be Prosperous?

Q. It is taught by various prophecy teachers that the nation of Israel will be a very prosperous one at the end of the age.  I am wondering if you share that view and if so what scriptures you use to support it?

Why Has The Lord Tarried?

Q. I wonder what you might think the reason is that the Lord has tarried for so long.  I know that God sees time differently than we do and that He is long suffering and patient.  During the last two thousand years each generation has had earnest students of the Word who have believed His coming was imminent.  There have been countless “badboys” who were seen as potential Anti-Christs.  As these seasons of expectation have come and gone it has left many discouraged and reluctant to continue to hope for a future date of fulfillment.

Why Rosh Hashanah?

Q. I’ve read your article titled ‘No One knows the Day or the Hour’ and I agree that they refer to the Second Coming and I also understand that 2018 is neither a day or an hour. But what I was wondering is what exactly is Rosh Hashanah and why do you think it will be when Christ will return? Also, is we can predict the day that Rosh Hashanah will fall in 2018, wouldn’t that mean we would know that day of His return? I simply want to get the clear picture so I can be a better witness.
