Q. I continue to be blessed by your site. Every day or so, I check out your new postings. I can only imagine the commitment on your part to keep this going. Bless you!!!

I was raised Quaker and, as a young adult, sat under the teaching of an Episcopal church that was in renewal (charismatic – don’t like using that “tag” because immediate opinions are made). Quakers hold to a “second work of grace” or sanctification and the Episcopal church taught the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

While reading your article, A SHEPHERD’S STORY, I was thinking that, finally, someone who understood the scriptures made the observation that Yeshua could not have been born in the cold month of December. My joy faded into despair, however, when you ended the article with ‘Merry Christmas’. I guess you just don’t see the irony here.

My question comes from the latest article on tithing, but interestingly, doesn’t directly involve tithing. Jack, I’m struggling with the idea that Jesus came to fulfill the law. What does this really mean?

Or is their faith much stronger than that of most of us?

I was molested as a child by older male cousins. I never told anyone until recently what happened. But, the whole situation has scarred me in a way that makes it hard for me to rejoice in being a female.

Read Post »

You mentioned in one of your answers that the belief of Assemblies of God and Church of God relates to losing our salvation if we don’t live right. But if that’s not true in the whole sense, does it mean that if I accept the Lord into my heart once, regardless of how I live my life, I would still go to heaven?….Wouldn’t I lose my salvation?

I had a question on prayer. Does prayer change God’s mind? Or is God changed by prayer?
