Q. I have wondered about what we will know of our past relationships once we’re in Heaven. I have read of God wiping away all tears. Will we not have knowledge of family who were not saved and what of our relationships with those who were saved? I am happily married and have asked if I will know of the relationship we had once we are in heaven.

Q. I have a few questions about death and about heaven and I just wanted to know if you could answer them for me
When we die do we go straight to Heaven and do we get to see all our loved ones, and others we want to meet? Will we meet God? What exactly would we look like? I heard that we will get new bodies, but will we still look the way we look here just without any injuries, diseases, and etc? If we do bad things when we’re on Earth would still get to go to Heaven? When someone passes away do they remember how they died or anything from when they lived on Earth?

Q. Just when I think I am getting things cleared I read your article about being awake or asleep at death and now I have a question. Paul’s statements about going and being with the Lord says nothing about being awake or aware. Is it just the breath of life as some have suggested or are we there in spirit waiting for the resurrection of our bodies to be reunited with them?

Q. Thank you for the continuation of your site! I have a problem. My wife has recently gotten mad at me for reading about end times prophecy. She feels that she doesn’t want the rapture to happen because it would take away the life that we have just started together. She also does not seek out information on Jesus or what it means to be a Christian. What should I/can I do? I don’t know what I can do to console her. Is it right to assume that the rapture will happen in the next five years?

Q. The scriptures speak mostly of the physical elements of the new heaven and new earth and little, if any, about how we will relate to each other. Different books have shown our new home as physical and real, more real than this one, if that can be imagined. But here is where I am. I lost a woman that I loved some time ago and even though I know I will see her again, will our relationship be the same or can it be? Read Post »

Q. I thank God for your researched and thoughtful insights. Your Q & A’s are always such a joy to read.
Maybe you can help me with this question. Are those who have passed on ahead of us aware of the daily actions of those of us who still remain? Thank you for your response. Read Post »

Q. I have learned a lot from your site and i thank you for it. I have heard or read that we will be praising the Lord forever and ever when in heaven.
I am a born again Christian and have been for many years. I love the Lord and I know he is the only answer. however, I know how God loves a humble heart and can’t stand people who are high on themselves. By us worshiping God forever and all the time, is God saying he wants us to be humble but yet he covets all the worship all the time? Read Post »

Q. Thanks for your wonderful site. My wife and I have been ‘saved’ and filled with the Holy Spirit for the past 23 years. Recently she has become concerned about what God ‘thinks’ of her and whether she is measuring up to his standards. Read Post »

Q. In a recent question you said that Paradise is part of Hades where those who died in faith went to wait for Jesus to die for them. You said after the Resurrection He took them to Heaven. But in 2 Cor. 12:2 and 4 Paul spoke of going to the 3rd Heaven which he called Paradise, and in Rev. 2:7 it speaks of the tree of life being in the paradise of God. Based on these two verses which are written after the cross and happened after the cross, it appears to me that paradise is not part of Hades. Read Post »

Q. When we die my understanding is that our spirit, free from our earthly body, goes straight to heaven. Why is it necessary later on , at the rapture , to receive resurrection bodies. (dead in Christ will rise first) There are deceased people that have been in heaven now for many years without resurrection bodies and when the rapture happens they will all of a sudden receive a resurrection body. Do you have any idea why God is waiting until the rapture to give us a resurrection body and not straight away when we die . Read Post »
