Q. God provided manna to the Israelites until they entered the promised land through-out their 40 years journey in the desert but there are a few questions that cross my mind: First, the Israelites received the ceremonial law at Mt. Sinai for their worship and were instructed to use lambs, cows, pigeons, wheat, etc. for offerings. If they were in the desert and constantly on the move, how could they find those items for offerings? Second, sea cows are aquatic animals. how did they find sea cows for the Tabernacle covering from the desert? And third, since they had animals, olive oil, and wheat, why did they need manna?

Q. Why is life after death so much more vague in the Old Testament, than it is in the New? I never really understood this, seeing that everyone ever born, has an eternal destiny.

Q. In Matt. 24:22 Jesus said He would bring the Great Tribulation to a close for the sake of the elect. Then in Matt. 24:31 He spoke of gathering His elect from Heaven at the time of the 2nd Coming. And in Mark 13:27 He said his elect would be both in Heaven and on Earth. I am so confused! How can the Elect be in Heaven and on Earth at the same time?

Q. In Will All Israel Be Saved?, you said, “According to Zechariah 12:10, sometime during the Great Tribulation the Lord will pour out His Spirit of grace and supplication causing the eyes of the Jewish people to be opened to the realization that Jesus has been their Messiah all along.” I thought that this was done back in the Ezekiel 38 war at the onset of the tribulation…when God supernaturally intervenes and defeats Israel’s enemies. Are these two separate events then?

Q. I find it interesting that everything I read in your responses has the church living in a different location than God’s chosen people for eternity. I’m confused about the kingdom of God. It seems to be offered to the disciples who became part of the church. It says they would be rulers in the kingdom of God. Are the Jews not part of that kingdom?

The next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.” (John 1:29,34).

Q. It was always my understanding that Israel will accept the anti-Christ as their leader and as the messiah. If that truly is the fact, then would they not follow his genealogy back to David?? Wouldn’t he have to be a Jew?

A Bible Study by Jack Kelley
We’ve come to the final installment in our study of the Book of Amos. The Lord’s anger against the Israelites continues, His promise of judgment clear. There will be no last minute reprieve; the Northern Kingdom will cease to exist. But as He always has, God will preserve a faithful remnant to keep the flame of His people flickering.

Q. I am convinced in my own mind that the rapture will come before the Great Tribulation, and that Matt. 24-25 is about Israel and the 2nd Coming. I don’t understand why do some people say Matt. 24-25 is about the rapture?
