Q. Based on your web site I have come to the belief that you can not lose your salvation, however, I have a question I would like an answer to. I have a friend that, once-upon-a-time believed the Bible and its teachings. It has been recently that she has begun soul searching and has been thinking about converting to another religion (which has yet to be determined). My question is “if she was saved once but then changes her mind and converts to another religion that may not even believe in God or Jesus, will she still keep her salvation?” Read Post »

Q. My question is about sanctification. I have family members that can point to a time in their lives (30 years ago) when they accepted Christ as their personal savior, but they show no ’spiritual fruit’ at all . They do not live as Christians in any sense of the word. I know that the bible basically says ”once saved always saved”, but if there is no spiritaul growth & no desire for God or His word, meaning they are not being sanctified, is it possible that the conversion was not genuine? I’m confused about this. Does this mean that they are still saved, but it will affect their rewards once in Heaven? Read Post »

Q. My question regards the age of accountability and homosexuality. After reading your answers on age of accountability being around 13 (or puberty) I can logically agree with that. My question is; what if the child accepts Christ prior to the age of accountability (for themselves). For instance my daughter accepted Christ and was baptized by her own choice around 8 years of age. She is now 28 years old and does not believe Jesus is the only way to heaven and she is also a lesbian. Does once saved always saved apply to her? Read Post »

Q. I was surfing the net, when I came upon a site where someone wrote with concerns about our sins not really being forgiven. The respondent quoted II Cor. 5:10, saying we’ll have to give an account after all about what we’ve done on earth. So, is there a carbon copy of our sins? I thought God would cast our sins into a sea of forgetfulness and remember them no more. Then he quoted I John 2:28, saying that some of will be ashamed when we appear before the Bema Seat. I covet your view on this. Read Post »

Q. I believe that because I am saved that there is nothing that can separate me from the Lord and He will never forsake me. I have read that our sins are cast as far as the east is from the west but does that mean they are forgiven, Past, Present and Future as some term it?
If that’s so then why when the Lord speaks to the Church at Laodicea, does he warn them to not be lukewarm for He will spew them from His mouth? Read Post »

Q. I understand from you’re e-site that you are of the OSAS opinion/belief. I am not sure a bit confused on this issue but I do hope that perhaps it may be the case, it does give some hope for the likes me.
Given that I am a former minister and during my time as a minister hit my wife on more than occasion and leaving ministry because of this, falling into drug use, adultery, alcoholism and defaming Christ using the most filthy language and curses; I hope most earnestly that there is grace even for men of my kind, with or without OSAS. Q. My question has to do with the “falling away” 2 Thes. 2:1-12. I understand that many will be deceived by/into the apostate church of the End Times through various avenues. If someone is/starts out a true Christian but in the process of living becomes deceived and does not realize nor repent of this but continues to sincerely believe they are following Jesus even though they have fallen away from the Gospel they were saved with and their relationship with Jesus, have they lost their salvation? Q. I am going through the book of Mark on your web site. You say in chaper 3 that anyone who is a believer can never blaspheme the Holy Spirt. I understand that but, What if that person decides in his heart that he no longer is a believer and turns away and becomes a agnostic or atheist. Is he ever able to turn back to Christ? Read Post »

Q. I asked Christ to come into my life over 33 years ago and for the first 30 years I never doubted that I was His. Now that it appears we may be nearing the time of the end, I’ve been fearful that I’m not saved for some reason. I’ve always been a believer in once saved, always saved, so why these fears and doubts? Is it the enemy messing with me or could it be that I’ve not spent regular time with the Lord in recent years or what? I know we can’t rely on feelings, but it’s very unsettling to doubt my salvation after so many years of feeling totally secure. Please advise. Read Post »

Q. I lived a life of terrible sin for years. When I turned to the Lord Jesus I confessed my sins in general but couldn’t remember all the sins I committed throughout my life. I now confess my sins in general occasionally ( I forget to pray many days) but don’t remember specific sins (like having lustfull thoughts). Am I still saved? Read Post »
